Warden: Mary Brandin
Mary Brandin was named Warden of Bridgeport PPTF in May 2007. She was previously serving as Assistant Warden at Mineral Wells PPTF. Prior to joining CCA Mrs. Brandin was employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Board of Pardons and Parole as an Institutional Parole Officer for approximately 4 years. Mrs. Brandin joined CCA in July 1989 as a Training Manager. During her 18 years with CCA she has served as Training Manager, American Correctional Association Manager, Unit Grievance Coordinator, Chief of Unit Classification, Use of Force Coordinator, Quality Assurance Manager and Assistant Warden.

Bridgeport Pre-Parole Transfer facility is located in the Wise County, Texas city of Bridgeport, which is 10 miles west of the County Seat, Decatur. The population of Bridgeport is over 4,000, and growing. The city of Forth Worth, located only forty-five minutes southeast of Bridgeport, provides nearby opportunities for great shopping, dining out and sightseeing. Travel west seven miles to Lake Bridgeport for excellent fishing, skiing and boating.
Community Relations: The Bridgeport Pre-Parole Transfer Facility's Community Relations Board includes the Mayor of Bridgeport, the Mayor of Decatur, Robert Sivley and other members of the Bridgeport School District, the local Postmaster, City Counsel Members, Chief of Police, Chamber of Commerce members, and other community business people and involved citizens.
Community Activities: The Bridgeport Facility donates to several community organizations serving Wise County. During the holiday season, the facility donates hand crafted gifts to the local nursing home. The facility also donates gifts to the Wise County Domestic Violence Intervention Center throughout the year. BPPTF supports American Cancer Society's local Relay for Life, Wise County Domestic Violence program, Butterfield Stage Days, Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, Runaway Bay 4th of July Celebration, and more.
Programs Offered: EDUCATIONAL: ABE (Adult Basic Education), GED (General Education Development) VOCATIONAL: Beginning and Advanced Computer Skills and Accounting Classes FAITH-BASED: Bill Glass and "Embracing His Grace" Bible Studies, Jehova's Witness, Catholic Services, and other Bible studies and special faith-based programs led by community volunteers DWI Substance Abuse Classes Life Skills Courses including the "Changes" Program "Thinking for a Change" Program for successful re-entry into society.
Visitation Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00am until 4:00pm; Offenders are allowed one, two-hour visit each week.
