Warden: Joyce Arnold
Joyce Arnold was named warden of Gadsden Correctional Facility in March 2008. Arnold previously served as warden of Otter Creek Correctional Center beginning July 2005. Arnold's corrections career began in 1978 working as a Correctional Officer for the Washington County Sheriff's Department in Chipley, Florida. Two years later, Arnold became the Department's Deputy Sheriff, and in 1982, she was promoted to Jail Administrator, a position she held for five years before joining CCA in 1987. Arnold started with CCA as the Chief of Security at Bay County Jail in Panama City, Florida. She then served, respectively, as assistant warden for CCA's Hernando County Jail in Brooksville, Florida and CCA's Gadsden Correctional Facility in Quincy, Florida. Arnold earned an Associate's degree from Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.
