Warden: Don Stewart

Don Stewart Don Stewart was named warden at Hernando County Jail in February 2006. He most recently served as warden at CCA's Cimarron Correctional Facility since May 2005. He also served as warden at Wheeler Correctional Facility, McRae Correctional Facility and David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center. Stewart began his corrections career of more than 23 years in the Kentucky Department of Corrections as a corrections officer and progressed through the ranks to warden. He first entered private sector corrections as assistant warden of operations at Lee Adjustment Center in Beatyville, KY in 1990 and obtained his appointment as warden in January 1992. Stewart joined CCA in 1997 at North Fork Correctional Facility in Sayre, Oklahoma.
