Warden: Juan Diaz
Juan Diaz was named warden at CCA's Laredo Processing Center in September 2006. He previously served as the assistant warden at Webb County Detention Facility. Diaz joined CCA in 1985 as recreation/bailiff and also served as training manager, program manager, chief of security and assistant warden. Before beginning his career with CCA, Diaz worked at the Webb County Sheriff's Department as a crime prevention officer. Diaz also served with the U.S. Marine Corps as sergeant, non-commission officer in charge.

Laredo Processing Center is located in the eastern outskirts of Laredo, Texas. Laredo is a borderplex city located in the southern most borders of the United States. Serving as border to Mexico, Laredo and Mexico are separated only by the Rio Grande River. Laredo is also the leading import/export city in the U.S. Being an open border to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico, Laredo's population has doubled to 200,000 in the past ten years. Laredo is only 146 miles south of San Antonio, Texas, which is considered to be one the most visited "Fiesta" cities in Texas and also home of the Alamo.

LAREDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - At airport exit, turn right (South) onto Loop 20. Travel approximately one (1) mile. At first traffic light (Hwy 59 - Saunders St) turn right. Travel ΒΌ of a block. Facility is located on the right.
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - Travel South IH35 150 miles. Take the Saunders-Hwy 59 exit. Turn left and travel approximately four (4) miles. Facility is on the left side prior to reaching Loop 20.
