Randy Stovall Following a 20-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Randy Stovall joined Corrections Corporation of America in 1995 and assumed the position of warden at Lee Adjustment Center in September 2004. Prior to his present assignment, Warden Stovall served as assistant warden of CCA's Mineral Wells Pre-Parole Transfer Facility and warden of Brownfield Intermediate Sanction Facility in Texas. Most recently, he served as warden of Otter Creek Correctional Center in Wheelwright, Kentucky.

Lee Adjustment Center is located approximately one mile outside the city limits of Beattyville (population 1,193) in Lee County, Kentucky (population 7,786). Beattyville, established in 1843, is located on the banks of the Kentucky River near the point in which the north, middle and south forks of the river converge into one stream.

Programs Offered:

Program opportunities available to the inmate poopulation at Lee Adjustment Center include, but are not limited to, the following: FAITH-BASED--All faiths of the population are represented. SUBSTANCE ABUSE--Addictions Treatment Unit (therapeutic community), Criminal Conduct and Substance Abuse Treatment: Strategies for Self-Improvement and Change, and Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous EDUCATIONAL--Literacy, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Education Development (GED) level programming; various college courses which vary by semester VOCATIONAL--culinary arts, bulding trades, masonry, and horticulture LIFE SKILLS--anger management, parenting, and cognitive self-change PRE-/POST RELEASE

Visitation Schedule:

General Population--Saturday, Sunday and recognized holidays from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. Special Management Inmates--Thursday as scheduled in advance through the Unit Captain

Visitation Rules:

Visiting Rules/Requirements 1) Visitor's names MUST appear on the inmate's approved visitor list. 2) Visitors age eighteen (18) and over must present official photo identification. Certifate of Birth and Social Security Cards are required for persons under the age of eighteen (18) years of age. 3) Persons under eighteen (18) years of age cannot visit unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or an approved adult having a notarized authorization from the parent or guardian. 4) Visitors may visit only one (1) inmate per visit, unless the inmates being visited are of the same immediate family. 5) Each table has four (4) chairs, therefore a limit of three (3) adult visitors per inmate is observed. The number of children is not limited, however no additional chairs can be added at the table. 6) Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising and maintaining control of their children. Failure to do so may result in early termination of the visit. 7) Visitor, their vehicles or any container carried into the facility beyond the warning sign along the roadway are subject to a search. Visitors who refuse to be serached and/or those int eh possession of dangerous contraband will be denied entry into the institution. Law enforcement officials may be summoned/contacted as deemed necessary. 8) Visitors must dress appropriately. Dresses or shorts must be no less than mid-thigh length. Clothing cannot be excessively tight or revealing and proper under garments must be worn. Clothing with splits, cut-outs or made of transparent materials is not acceptable, nor are mini-skirts, halter/tank tops or short cut-offs. Inappropriately dressed individuals (as determined by staff on duty) will be denied access to the visiting room. 9) Visitors are rotated on a first-in/first-out basis with a two (2) hour minimum visit per scheduled visiting day. Visitors traveling in excess of three hundred (300) miles one way will receive a minimum four (4) hour visit. 10) Visitors who seldom visit, such as once per calendar quarter or less, and who travel three hundred (300) miles or more one way may request an all-day visit (limited to normal visiting hours unless otherwise specified). Such request must be approved by the Warden or designee at least one (1) week in advance of the desired visit date. All-day visits occurring on Saturday, Sunday and recognized holidays will be normal contact visits, but those occurring Monday through Friday will be non-contact visits. 11) Visitors can bring ONLY their vehicle keys and up to twenty dollars ($20) per visitor, in five dollar ($5) denominations or less into the visiting area for use in the vending machines. 12) Postal money orders for inmates can be placed in a locked steel box upon visitor registration. 13) The exchange of any item (i.e. clothing, jewelry, etc.) between inmates and visitors is prohibited. coin-lockers are available for visitors to store items not taken into the visiting area. 14) Visitors are allowed to kiss and embrace an inmate only at the beginning and end of the visit. Undue contact or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in early termination of the visit.
