Warden: Brian Koehn

Brian Koehn Brian Koehn was named warden of Metro-Davidson County Detention Center in March 2008. Koehn previously served as director of security at the Facility Support Center. He began his career at CCA as a sergeant at Prairie Correctional Facility where he promoted through the ranks as assistant shift supervisor, SORT commander, and training manager. Keohn transferred to Northeast Ohio Correctional Center as assistant warden of operations and then to Idaho Correctional Facility as assistant warden of operations, program and operational support. Koehn spent 16 years serving the military in the U. S. Marine, Marine Reservist and Minnesota/Ohio National Guardsman.

Community Activities:

Metro-Davidson County employees can always be counted on to volunteer in the community. Each year we volunteer our time to help at the Special Olympics and numerous Boys & Girls Club activities---including their summer picnic and Christmas Dinner. Our employees also collect canned goods during the holidays for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
