Warden: Robert Adams
Robert Adams was promoted to Warden at CCA's Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility. Adams joined CCA in 1992 and worked his way up the ranks from correctional officer, shift supervisor, supervisor, assistant and chief of security; and assistant warden of security. He served four years in the Army as a specialist, team leader.

Tallahatchie County Correctional Canter is located 12 miles South of Clarksdale, MS one and a half miles north of the city of Tutwiler on U.S. Highway 49 and occupies approximately 27 acres of the 149-acre site. Tutwiler, MS is a rural farming community with a population of about 1,800. It is noted to be where "Blues Begin." The current Mayor is Robert Grayson.

Visitation Schedule:
County Jail: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00-8:00 p.m.--male; 8:00-8:30 p.m.--Female; and 8:30-9:00 p.m. segregation.
California: Friday, Saturday, Sunday of each week from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

MEMPHIS - Hwy 61 South; to Hwy 49 East; from Clarksdale go approx. 12 miles; Facility located on right.
AIRPORT - The Memphis International Airport is located 85 miles from the facility. When leaving the airport, take a left on Winchester, then a left on a left on 49 S and continue for 12 miles to the facility.
