Mario Garcia has been Warden of Webb County Detention Facility since July 1999. Garcia joined CCA in 1987 as a Shift Supervisor at its Laredo Processing Center and was soon promoted to Chief of Security. In 1994, he was named Assistant Warden, a position he held until joining Webb County. Prior to joining CCA, Garcia served as a Mental Health Worker at the Charter Rio Grande Hospital and in a variety of security positions. Garcia holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Laredo State University and an associate's degree from Laredo Junior College.
