Orlando Perez was named warden of CCA's Willacy County State Jail in February 2006. He previously served as assistant warden of the facility since December 2003. Perez joined CCA following a 27-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he began as a correctional officer and worked his way up to Senior Warden II.

Located in south Texas, Raymondville is the gateway to the Rio Grande Valley with a total population of just over 10,000. It is an agricultural area with cotton, grain and sugarcane as the primary industries.
Community Activities:
Willacy County State Jail contributes to the community in many ways, like partnering with the Chief of Police to help make possible a bicycle recycling program for needy kids during the Christmas holidays and a school supplies program at the beginning of the school year. WCSJ also provides community assistance through the use of offender labor to local government entities.
